The ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards – 2022

January 18, 2022

We are delighted to announce that The ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards Lunch will take place in the Riverbank Pavilion at Royal Windsor Racecourse on Wednesday, 25th May 2022, commencing with pre-lunch drinks at mid-day.

It is open to all ACS Pacesetter members and each company which attends the function can be presented with a personally engraved award (£60.00 plus VAT) showing that they are a member in 2022.

We are obtaining sponsors for the event who will be an important part of the day and without their generosity it would not be possible for us to run this awards lunch. Should any of our members wish to consider sponsorship we would be delighted to hear from you and provide further information.

We have a guest speaker and are inviting end-users of contract security as our personal guests in order that they can meet members of The ACS Pacesetters.

We invite you to attend with your colleagues and clients and can accommodate tables of up to 10. The individual cost of the lunch is £85.00 plus VAT.  Download the Reservation form ACS Pacesetters Awards Lunch 2022 Members Reservation Form

The most important part of the day is the awards presented to the front-line Security Officers. During the past year, security teams have carried out a vital role keeping property and individuals safe.  Unfortunately, on many occasions they have been the target of violence and aggression. We would like to recognise and reward those Officers who have gone above and beyond in their duties during this difficult period. There will be 12 individual Security Officer of Distinction Awards and the successful Security Officers will be invited to the lunch as our guests (at our cost). The deadline to submit the Security Officer of Distinction Nomination Form is Friday, 1st April 2022, at 17.00 hrs. Due to the increasing number of nominations each year, we are restricting the nominations to 5 per member company.

A page dedicated to the 12 winners will appear in our Brochure which will be available on the day. The winners will also appear on the ACS Pacesetters website for the next year and be published in Professional Security Magazine.

An official photographer has been appointed for the event and the photographs will be available for you to download.

We also take the opportunity to raise funds for charity with a raffle and for the second year we have chosen The Felix Fund Bomb Disposal Charity www.felixfund.org.uk   In 2019 we raised almost £2,000 for this small charity.  Almost everyday bomb disposal and search personnel deal with highly pressured situations. Felix Fund aims to assist with the well-being of individuals within the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Search community. Should any of our members wish to donate a raffle prize to raise funds for this worthwhile charity, this will be greatly appreciated and recognised in our brochure.

We recommend that you reserve places at the event at the earliest opportunity and in order to do this, please complete and return the reservation form to: [email protected]

In the meantime, should you have any queries or wish to discuss any aspect of the day, do not hesitate to contact us.
