STM Group (UK) Ltd named “Business of the Year” at the British Security Awards 2020

On Friday 3^rd July, STM Group celebrated being named ‘Business of the Year 2020’ at the annual British Security Awards.

STM Group is a leading national provider of manpower solutions, with a focus on security and cleaning. This is the third award in 2020 for STM, following a year of significant improvement and business change, since the appointment of new CEO, Paul Jacomb.

Organised by the British Security Industry Association, the British Security Awards celebrate the achievements, acts of bravery, and innovations made by those operating within UK security industry. This particular award recognises a non-SME business, working within the security sector, that has made a significant industry impact in the last 12 months.

For the first time in its history the Event was held online, providing the opportunity for everyone to join from their homes or places of work, and enjoy the occasion.

In addition to winning Business of the Year, STM Group was also a finalist in the ‘Innovative Security Project’ and ‘Contribution to the Industry’ categories.

On winning Business of the Year, CEO Paul Jacomb comments: “STM has undergone a significant period of, necessary, change in the last 12 months. Whilst the impact of these changes is very evident within the business, it is pleasing to have such, high profile, external recognition. Through a commitment  to continuous improvement, we will continue to deliver the very highest standards of service delivery to the UK Security Industry”
