Guest Speaker announced for ACS Pacesetters Awards Lunch

The ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards Lunch will be held at Royal Windsor Racecourse on 25^th May 2022 and we are delighted to announce that our Guest Speaker is Stephen McCormick, Director of Licensing and Standards at the Security Industry Authority (SIA).  Stephen has been working for the SIA since 2009 when he joined as Interim Director of Service Delivery.

The Security Officer of Distinction Awards reward and celebrate front-line security staff who have carried out exceptional actions whilst on duty and there are 12 Security Officers who will receive an award this year.

It is a great opportunity to recognise Officers who have gone ‘above and beyond’ and been recognised by both their employer and the customer.

The event will be hosted by Roy Cooper, Managing Director of Professional Security Magazine, and we have secured 7 sponsors who will be involved in the presentations. We would like to thank them for their generous support, without which, we would be unable to run this event. The ACS Pacesetters is independent of the SIA and the ACS and promotes those security companies who are SIA approved contractors that currently have a score in the top 15% of all accredited companies. The SIA’s Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS) provides a recognised hallmark of quality for all security companies with that status within the private security industry.
