Kingdom now providing security services in India

Kingdom is delighted to announce that they now have a presence in India.

Kingdom have taken over the Indian security company Capital Guarding Services and so are now able to support their UK customers that also need security services on the Indian sub continent.

This new initiative will act as a launch pad for pan India and Middle East operations in the future.

Capital Guarding Services has more than 500 personnel working across the southern Indian state of Kerala (known there as “God’s own country”). The company is based in Kochi (also known as Cochin and often referred to as the “Queen of the Arabian Sea”), a major port city on the south-west coast of India. It is part of the district of Ernakulam.

The company was founded in 2014 with the aim of securing the lifestyle of Kochi city. Their focus has not only been to provide a guarding service and specialised and customised security solutions, but also to help the uneducated sector to develop their hidden skills and secure their lives by providing job opportunities across Kerala. They are planning to utilise the Kerala government’s skill development programme in the security sector.

In Kerala, their strength lies in their well-organised and extensive network of security Officers. This enables them to provide professional tailor made security services to meet the specific needs of customers in any part of Kerala. Kochi is the second largest IT hub in South India, and Kerala is famous for its hospitality sector and for health tourism, and so they are looking forward to playing a key role in both of these sectors.

Commenting on the development, Kingdom’s CEO Terry Barton BA Hons said: “For a few years now we have looked at the Indian market and spent some time there to fully understand the marketplace and what would be required for Kingdom to be successful. A number of our UK customers are already operating successfully in India and we would like to support them oversees.
