The ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards 2020

We are delighted to announce that the ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards Lunch will take place in the Riverbank Pavilion at The Royal Windsor Racecourse on Wednesday, 3^rd June 2020, commencing with pre-lunch drinks at mid-day.

This annual event, is open to all ACS Pacesetter companies who are members as at 1^st May 2020.  Each company which attends the function can be presented with a personally engraved award, showing that they are a member in 2020.

The most important part of the day is the awards presented to Security Officers who, as employees of ACS Pacesetter member companies, have given commendable service to both their company and the clients for whom they work.  There will be 12 individual Security Officer of Distinction Awards which will be presented by our Guest Speaker.

We also take the opportunity to raise funds for charity with a raffle and for the second year running we have chosen The Felix Fund Bomb Disposal Charity www.felixfund.org.uk   Last year we raised almost £2,000 for this small charity.  Almost every day bomb disposal and search personnel deal with highly pressured situations. This continued exposure to intense stress can have lasting effects, both physical and mental. Felix Fund aims to assist with the well-being of individuals within the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Search community.
