Ward Security maintains high score for Approved Contractor Scheme

National security firm Ward Security remains amongst the top 2% of approved security providers in the UK after achieving a score of 167 out of 174 in an independent audit conducted on behalf of the Security Industry Authority (SIA) – the organisation responsible for regulating the private security industry in the UK – as part of its Approved Contractor Score (ACS) scheme. Ward Security is also once again on the Infologue.com Star Performers list of companies that have achieved the highest 5% of assessed scores within the ACS.

External assessing body Chamber Certification Assessment Service Ltd (CCAS) carried out a combined annual assessment of Ward Security during February 2016 that included a reverification assessment for the SIA Approved Contractor Scheme for Security Guarding, Door Supervision, CCTV and Keyholding sectors, as well as a surveillance audit for ISO9001:2008 (Quality), and for BS18001:2007 (Occupational Health & Safety). Auditors visited Ward Security’s Rochester and London offices, as well as the company’s control room and thirteen customer sites across the UK, conducting interviews with Ward Security management and employees, and eight customers.
