The ACS Pacesetters announce Guest Speaker and Sponsors for 2020 Security Officer of Distinction Awards Lunch

The 2020 ACS Pacesetters Security Officer of Distinction Awards Lunch will take place on 3^rd June at Royal Windsor Racecourse and we are delighted to announce that our Guest Speaker is Mr. Ian Todd FRSA, FCMI, Chief Executive, of the Security Industry Authority (SIA). These awards reward and celebrate front-line security staff who have carried out exceptional actions whilst on duty and Ian has also kindly agreed to present the awards to the successful Security Officers.

This is the seventh year that the Awards Lunch has taken place and it is a great opportunity to recognise Officers who have gone ‘above and beyond’ and to network with colleagues in the security industry.

We have secured a number of sponsors who will be joining us on the day and we would like to thank them for their generous support, without which, we would be unable to run this annual event.

During the event we take the opportunity to raise funds with a Raffle and, for the second year running, we are supporting the Felix Fund Bomb Disposal Charity, a small charity based in Oxfordshire and we hope to exceed the sum of £1835.00 raised in 2019.
