Security Guard pleads guilty to working with suspended licence

On Tuesday 22 September 2015 at Luton Magistrates Court, Asif Abrar of Speckmans Way, Slough entered a guilty plea to a charge under Section 3 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001.

Abrar had been working as a security guard for Nationwide Security Management Limited on a construction site in Kings Langley, Hertfordshire. Although his SIA licence had been suspended in January 2014 he was found working as a security guard by SIA investigators in March 2015.

Nationwide Security Management Limited and its director have entered pleas of not guilty to associated charges, and will be heard at a future date.
