Let us rejoice in that it would appear the Coalition Government are now trying to frantically row back from their ill advised and precipitate decision to commit the SIA to the so called “Bonfire of the Quangos”. In our view the only people who should be heading for the bonfire are the Government officials who came up with that ridiculous decision! Bolton based Coppermount Security has been acquired by Kingdom Security.  The acquisition includes approximately 2,000 guarding hours per week across a variety of sectors (Education, Student Accommodation, Galleries, Libraries and Property Management) and a turnover in excess of £1 million.
