SCOTT FORSYTH AND AMINUL CHOWDURY – AXIS SECURITY SERVICES

Scott and Aminul work at a large Shopping Centre and on Christmas Eve last year they prevented a male from committing suicide in this busy area.  As the Officers engaged him in conversation, he then started to count indicating he was about to jump. He refused to speak to the Police when they arrived at the scene.  Scott and Aminul then tackled the male and wrestled him to the ground.  As they all fell Aminul was punched in the face, but he refused to release his grip.  The victim was later assessed under the Mental Health Act.
